2024 Collemurello Trebbiano Spoletino
2024 Collemurello Trebbiano Spoletino
Trebbiano Spoletino is arguably Umbria’s most intriguing white grape, originally from the city of Spoleto, north-east of Narni. Leonardo is a handful of producers working with this complex and late ripening varietal which was threatened with extinction. The fruit is sourced from his certified organic estate vineyards in the Collemurello area and is fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. It is aged in stainless steel vats, with periodic batonnages, to increase complexity.
